This service is intended for entertainment purposes only.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your information when you use Past Life Mirror (“Service”). It is written for U.S. users and includes state-specific rights (e.g., California). Nothing here is legal advice. If you have questions, contact us at support@pastlifemirror.com or via our Contact page.
1) What We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, information collected automatically, and information from third parties.
Account & Contact Data. Name, email, and any profile details you choose to provide.
Purchase & Payment Data. We use third-party processors (e.g., Dime/Stripe) to process payments. We do not store full card numbers. Receipts may include your email, amount, and limited transaction metadata.
Content You Submit. Prompts, questions, and any text you enter; generated outputs; feedback.
Usage & Device Data. IP address, device/browser characteristics, pages viewed, referring/exit pages, timestamps, and product interaction events.
Operational use. We process prompts and generate outputs to provide the Service. Do not include sensitive personal information in prompts you do not want stored.
Quality & safety. We may use aggregated or de-identified prompt/output data to improve quality, safety, and performance. If you wish to opt out of this improvement use, contact support@pastlifemirror.com.
Third-party AI providers. We may route prompts to model providers under confidentiality and data-protection terms. Providers process data to deliver model outputs and safety filtering.
4) When We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:
Service providers. Hosting, analytics, payment processing, customer support, and AI infrastructure providers.
Legal & safety. To comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect rights, safety, and security.
Corporate events. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets (your information remains protected and you will be notified where required).
We do not “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by California law. If this changes, we will update this Policy and provide a “Do Not Share” mechanism.
5) Cookies & Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand product usage. You can control cookies via your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may limit functionality.
6) Your Privacy Rights (U.S.)
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
Access and obtain a copy of your personal information;
Correct inaccurate information;
Delete information we hold about you;
Opt out of targeted advertising, profiling, or sale/share of personal information (we do not sell or share for cross-context advertising);
Limit use of sensitive personal information (we rarely collect it).
To submit a request, contact support@pastlifemirror.com or use our Contact page. We will verify your request and respond within required timeframes. Authorized agents may submit requests with appropriate proof.
California residents: You have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by CPRA), including the right to appeal if we deny a request. You may not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
Nevada residents: You may opt out of the sale of covered information (we do not sell). Contact us if this changes.
7) Data Retention & Deletion
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Payment records are kept for tax/audit requirements. You may request deletion of your account and content; we will honor it unless retention is required or permitted by law.
8) Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Please keep your account credentials confidential and notify us of any suspected misuse.
9) Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete it.
10) Do Not Track
Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” signals. Because there is no industry standard for responding to these signals, we do not respond to them at this time.
11) Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. If changes are material, we will provide prominent notice (e.g., in-app notice or email). Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
